ATM on Linux was presented at the
4th International Linux Kongress
1997 in Würzburg. For the congress, there was a
paper
on the status of ATM on Linux. It also includes a configuration example.

Linux Kongress 1996. Here is

A paper discussing ways to achieve reasonable ATM performance on
low-end systems (such as PCs) by
Werner Almesberger, titled
